My Story

I am a Kansas City native who went on to Tennessee State University and completed a bachelor's in business administration with a concentration in supply chain management in Fall 2021.  While at TSU, I interned for a company called Music City Baseball as an Operations Intern during my last semester. Once I graduated, I was promoted to Operations Coordinator. Serving in that position, I was exposed more to real estate development and what goes into developing an area and bringing in business. After leaving Music City Baseball, I came back to Kansas City and started my journey at UMKC in the MSF program, accompanied by a Real Estate Graduate Certificate. During my time at UMKC, I have joined the Dean's Student Advisory Board, Delta Sigma Pi, Women in Business and Crew KC. I have intern for Novogradac & Company LLP as a real analyst intern. I have completed coursework and projects that have contributed greatly to my skill set and experience.

Supply Chain Management

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management from Tennessee State University. During my time at Tennessee State, I excelled in classes graduating with a 3.3 GPA. I was the vice president of the Pre-Alumni Counsel and president of the Women of Infinite Potential group.

Master of Finance

I am actively pursuing my Master's degree in Finance. During my time in the program, I have done work that has given me the skill set of financial modeling and analysis, valuation analysis, and forecasting. I have joined the Student Advisory Board and Delta Sigma Pi.

I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in real estate. During my time I have done work with feasibility analysis and legal context of real estate deals. I have become a member of the Lewis White Real Estate Club.

EXPERTISE

Victoria Chemicals 

Conducted a comprehensive capital budgeting analysis of the Victoria Chemicals Merseyside investment proposal using Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and incremental cash flow modeling. Evaluated project feasibility by analyzing operational efficiencies, transportation cost savings, energy reductions, working capital impacts, and cannibalization effects. Performed scenario and sensitivity testing while incorporating cost of capital considerations to assess risk and value creation. Formulated a data-driven investment recommendation aligned with long-term shareholder value objectives.

Investment Fund

Conducted comprehensive equity analysis and developed a formal investment recommendation for a target company within a student-managed fund structure. Built integrated financial models including Discounted Cash Flow (DCF), Free Cash Flow to the Firm (FCFF), and DuPont analysis to evaluate profitability, capital efficiency, and intrinsic value. Analyzed financial statements, capital structure, and management performance while forecasting future cash flows to support strategic buy/sell recommendations. Presented findings in a formal written report and investment presentation.

Public & Private Equity Valuation

Developed advanced valuation models for both public and private companies using DCF and market multiples approaches. Conducted comparable company analysis (CCA) and evaluated transaction benchmarks to determine fair market value. Assessed financial performance, capital structure, and business operations to analyze valuation positioning within the broader market. Applied M&A valuation frameworks to understand deal pricing and strategic acquisition considerations.

Feasibility Study 

Performed a comprehensive real estate feasibility analysis to determine the highest and best use of a land parcel. Evaluated local market conditions, demographic trends, and community dynamics to assess development viability. Built financial models comparing multiple land-use scenarios to project development costs, projected returns, and profitability outcomes. Delivered a formal analysis report and presentation outlining recommended development strategy.

In this position, I conducted economic and demographic research to evaluate market feasibility for multifamily and affordable housing developments. I performed property interviews, comparable market surveys, and demand analyses to support market studies and appraisal reports. I synthesized quantitative data and stakeholder insights to assess housing trends and inform development decisions.

Community Engagement & Operations Coordinator

In this position, I was the Community Engagement and DEI Committees administrator and effectively led and

structured the within and across the committees. I created and led the Stars Volunteer program, which increased our

participation and our brand recognition. I leveraged my expertise to streamline procurement processes and effectively

budgeted the expenses of our office and merchandise store.
